Simply put, I swear by my morning routine. It has, without doubt, changed my life for the better.








MY STORY:
Four years ago, I was a self-proclaimed 'night owl' who for most of my life had been TERRIBLE in the mornings. I had wanted to change this for a long time, because I inherently knew that rising early would have a beneficial impact on my life. But...I just could not seem to get myself out of bed any earlier than I absolutely had to in order to get to my desk just in the nick of time. I would subsequently arrive at work feeling flustered and stressed.

After reading 'The Miracle Morning' by the fabulous Hal Elrod, I was not only inspired, but determined to cultivate a morning routine that would allow me to start my days in the best possible way. I wanted time to meditate, move, journal, and create a sacred time and space every day so that I could walk into my life feeling positive, calm, and excited for the day ahead. 

About 4 years ago my friend, Michaela, and I decided to become 'accountability buddies' by taking it in turns to call each other every weekday morning at 5am. And the rest, as they say, is history.

My morning routine has truly changed my life for the better, and I want to help you cultivate one too, because it's also going to change your life. 

BUT I'M NOT A MORNING PERSON!
Trust me, if I can become a morning person, anyone can! Because it's not a question of whether or not you're a morning person, it's a decision you make to become one. 

WHAT IS COCKADOODLE-LU?
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 6am, we will spend just 30 minutes setting ourselves up for a fabulous day! 

Because that's what having a morning routine does — it ensures that you start your day off in the best possible way so that, no matter what life throws at you, you're better prepared to cope with it.

We will meditate, we will journal, we will do some intentional breathing, and we will set a positive tone for the day. 

Having a morning routine will truly help you cultivate a more positive mindset, and if you know me and my podcast, you'll know that I believe that mindset is everything
